Nigerian marriage and relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, professionally known as Blessing CEO has taken to social media to recount how her mother was always brawling with her husband, just for him to pay the school fees of their children. She made such remembrance on Facebook.
According to Blessing CEO, a woman can win her partner’s heart by saving and investing the money he gives to her, because a time will come when the man will be broke and they will have to depend on her savings.
Speaking about her parents, Blessing CEO revealed that her mother would always tell her the money she used to become somebody today was taking from her husband, adding that her mother has more investments than her father because she knows how to keep and use money more than him.
“I grew up seeing my mum fight my dad for school fees and school money until she decided to be independent. I grew up watching my mum fight my dad, everytime we are going to school, they will fight, anytime we come back, they will fight and it’s always about money. It wasn’t that my father didn’t have the money, he did have the money but I don’t know what some men derive. Growing up, I used to think my mum was a troublesome woman, it was when I grew up I discovered my father was the narcissist”.
