A Nigerian lady simply known as Falilat has sparked a debate online with her comment about popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija and its relevance over having a degree.
Falilat simply said that BBNaija is better than having a university degree and mixed reactions greeted her statement on Twitter.
Big Brother which is Africa’s most popular show, usually makes celebrities out of its former contestants as many graduates of the programme have gone on to become stars in different spheres and areas of specializations.
The show which usually runs for a few months offers millions as cash prizes for the winner and other contestants end up becoming ambassadors for top brands.
It has produced stars like Uti Nwachukwu, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Cynthia Nwadiora aka Ceec.
This is probably why Falilat felt Big Brother Naija is better and greater than a degree.
She simply tweeted; ‘‘BBNAIJA >>>> Degree”
