The Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea and Cape Verde Islands’ victory against four-time champions, Ghana, have drawn several attention to Pastor Nigel Gaisie’s prophecy about the winner of the 2023 AfCON tournament.
Pastor Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel in Ghana, had predicted the winner of the Africa Cup of Nations which kicked off on Saturday, January 13th, 2024.
The cleric revealed the winner of this year’s AFCON as one of about 30 prophecies he released on happenings in Ghana and around the world.
According to him, favourite countries like Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Ghana, and others won’t win the trophy.
Pastor Gaisie said an underdog will win the 2023/2024 AFCON and it will come as a surprise to the world.
The 34th Africa Cup of Nations will conclude with the final showdown on Feb. 11 in Abidjan.
Reacting to yesterday’s round of games that featured favourite countries: Nigeria, Egypt and Ghana, some commenters posited that Pastor Gaisie’s prophecy might come to pass.
