Some moments ago, the punch Newspaper reported that a good number of former super eagles’ players landed in Kano for the flag off of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign which will hold at the Sani Abacha stadium.
After their arrival into Kano state, Honourable Baffa Baba Dan Agundi welcomed them. After welcoming the players, Honorable Agundi addressed the press and pledged to make their short stay a memorable one.
Among the Ex-Super Eagles’ players that arrived were Kanu Nwankwo, Taribo West, Victor Ikpeba, Daniel Amokachi, Julius Aghahowa, Mutiu Adepoju, Emmanuel Babayaro and over ten (10) others.
Honorable Agundi was also reported to have described the players as one of the best things to happen to the country because during their hey days, they brought joy to every home in Nigeria and made football a true uniting tool.
