Meet the woman with the longest name in the world consisting of 1,019 letters

A woman named Sandra Williams in 1984, gave her child a unique name consisting of 1,019 letters making her birth certificate to be two feet long.

Sandra Williams originating from Texas, United States mentioned in an interview, that she wanted her daughter’s name to be unique and set a world record.

In a bid to achieve her aim, when her daughter was born in 1984, Sandra Williams gave her a name called; Rhoshandiatellyneshiaunneveshenk Koyaanisquatsiuth Williams. This name was reflected on her daughter’s birth certificate.

However, few weeks after naming her child, she filed for an amendment to lengthen her daughter’s name on her birth certificate. This was because she felt that the name wasn’t long enough, thus it’s not so unique to break Guinness World Records.

This name of 1,019 letters long comprises of a 36 – letter middle name. Due to the lengthy nature of the name, Sandra Williams’ friends and family call her daughter, Jamie. Sandra Williams when being interviewed, mentioned that, the unique name of her daughter took her 6 years to form as she drew inspiration and ideas from movies, cars, relatives, etc.

In 1995 when Jamie was interviewed by Jay Leno she was 12. This means that, in present day, Jamie should be 39 years old, hence she’s the woman with the longest name in the world compromising of 1019 letters.
