I Was Called Mr. Cash Money When I Was Broke – Yul Edochie Reveals

Popular Nigerian actor and movie director Yul Edochie has revealed on his page the name he was once called before he became famous.

According to Yul Edochie, before he became a well-known actor in the movie industry he was very poor but had an outrageous name that did not match his personality. He disclosed that he was referred to as “Mr. Cash Money”.

Yul Edochie recounted how he used to attend different movie auditions about thirteen (13) years when he had nothing. He thanked God for bringing him far and also disclosed that although he has seen a great change in his life, he does not want anything cash to be added to his name.

His Instagram post reads, “Life is funny.
About 13yrs ago, when I no get shishi my nickname was Mr. CashMoney.
Meanwhile Mr. CashMoney dey jump bus to Surulere that time dey find audition to attend.
Today by God’s grace wey I don see a small change, I don’t even want anything cash attached to my name. Just call me Yul, I’m ok.
