Davido heartbroken as COVID19 affects him again

Heartbroken Davido took to Twitter to express his displeasure on how the second phase of COVID19 affected him again.

According to the 28 year old, the restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, has affected the show he was supposed to have in Jamaica.

“MAHN COVID Sucks .. Was meant to have my first show in Jamaica Flag of Jamaica today” he tweeted.

recalls that on the 13th of December, Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and charged with doing “acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease, Covid-19” following the illegal concert at Ddungu resort in Munyonyo with large crowds while the country is on lockdown.

Few days later, the fast rising artistes were released from the prison unconditionally and handed over to the Nigerian Mission in Uganda. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, disclosed this on twitter writing;

”Temilade ( Tems) has been freed and handed over to the Nigerian mission in Uganda. Onah lay ⁦@Omah_Lay⁩ is expected soon ⁦@PeterPsquare”.

”Breaking : And finally, ⁦@Omah_Lay arrives to the safe hands of officials of the Nigerian mission in Uganda”, her first tweet read.
