Popular Nollywood Actress, Ini Edo, has revealed that she regretted her decision to get married in 2008 because it wasn’t the right decision to make at that time. According to Punch Newspaper, Ini disclosed this in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
In the interview, the actress revealed that her family forced her to go into the union with Ehiagwina and that she would only consider marriage with the right person. She, however, noted that she will give marriage another chance in the future if the right person comes to her.
“I regretted my decision to get married because it wasn’t just the right move to make.” She said.
On why she decided to have a child through surrogacy, Ini revealed that she had a number of miscarriages in the past which necessitated her to explore another option through surrogacy. She said luckily, her eggs are viable and she was able to have a biological son just like every other woman.
“I don’t have a husband. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child.” She added.
