Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has been seen in viral video seeking appointment from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Recall that the former Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) chieftain joined the APC few weeks ago.
Fani-Kayode made the appeal for appointment when the FCT and Kogi State chairmen of APC, Abdulmalik Usman and Abdullahi Bello, paid a courtesy visit to him at his Abuja residence.
In the video making rounds online, he spoke on his willingness and readiness to assist the party in the North-central zone.
He said; “It is a great honour that I could be and accepted into the party in the first place, in the way which I was accepted into the party was quite unprecedented and I do not take it for granted. I acknowledge the role of people like the governor of Kogi state, people like Matawale of Zamfara, so many governors who paved the way, and of course even the president who was very gracious.”
The former minister said; “I am here to help whatever I can do for the party, not just in FCT but whatever I can do for the party throughout the Northcentral zone. I will thread caution, I have a lot to learn. It is an honour and privilege to receive you.”

Reacting, Nigerians lashed out at him for begging for an appointment.
