I want to put it on the record, these bandits are not Muslims, they love their cows, they don’t pray, they are illiterates — Bello El-Rufai

In a recent interview with Seun Okinbaloye, Bello El-Rufai, son of the former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, spoke candidly about the ongoing terrorism in Northern Nigeria. He emphasized that the terrorists have no ties to Islam and lack education.

El-Rufai, who represents Kaduna North Federal Constituency, expressed his pride in the ruling APC party and acknowledged the progress made by Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in infrastructure development. However, he also admitted that the administration had overpromised and underdelivered to the Nigerian people.

Highlighting the challenges faced by the North, El-Rufai described the region as overpopulated and undereducated. He made a pointed statement regarding the bandits terrorizing the area: “I want to put it on the record, these bandits are not Muslims, they love their cows, they don’t pray, they are illiterates, they don’t even have a knowledge of the Quran.”
