My father left this world on 10th September 1985. He left behind 13 wives and 53 children, Olatosho Oshoffa

 

The founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, Worldwide, Olatosho Oshoffa, also known as Tosho, was the 20th child of the church’s founder. There have been controversies surrounding the founder, particularly concerning the number of wives and children he had.

 

Tosho has clarified that his father, the founder, had 13 wives and 53 children when he passed away on September 10, 1985. Despite rumors suggesting that he had more children, Tosho maintains that the actual number of children is 53 and not 100 as some have claimed. According to Tosho, the family is united in love and harmony, despite the large number of children and wives.

In an interview with Punch, He said, “Well, this is no longer private. My father left this world on 10th September 1985. He left behind 13 wives and 53 children. Many people have said he had 100 children and so on. But no. We (the children) know ourselves and up till now, I can tell you that we know the number of wives that gave birth to this number of children for my father. So, we know ourselves and relate very well. There is one love in the family, no matter how many we are. The number of children is 53, but we are all in one love and one accord”
