Lady narrates how she married her delivery guy

An Australian-based woman, Tanatsa Lucas, has narrated how she fell in love with her delivery guy and married him.

Tanatsa disclosed this in an interview with South West News Service.

According to the 30-year-old, she shot her shot at the mail courier, asking him out on a date via text message even before she saw his face.

Explaining the reason for that, she said it was ‘love at first phone call’. She claimed that the moment she heard the delivery guy’s’ voice in June 2020, she felt an immediate attraction.

“I asked him if he would mind dropping the package outside my apartment, as I was going to be going out soon. Something inside me was telling me to shoot my shot and ask him out.

“I was newly single. I don’t know what happened, but something just came over me, and I just thought, I may as well ask—you never know,” she said.

Tanatsa texted Corey an hour after he delivered the package, saying, “You single by any chance?” Fortunately for her, the delivery guy was single.

Six months later, they were engaged and expecting their first child together.

“It was only six months after our first meet-up, so I was blown away, but I said yes,” Tanatsa said.

The two then tied the knot on December 19, 2020.

A few months later, in June 2021, Tanatsa and Corey welcomed their son, Archie, now two years old. Theodore, their second son, was born in August 2023.

“We grew to love each other even more after our second baby. We still had our challenges; I had post-natal depression after our first baby, but we developed an understanding and are doing great,” she said.
