In a recently circulated video, the OBO Crooner was seen meeting up with his beloved Uncle and the Governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, amidst a joyful atmosphere filled with cheers.
However, just moments after exchanging cordial greetings with the Governor, Davido wasted no time in introducing Shallipopi.
The Politician graciously extended his hand in a handshake gesture as the talented artist, known for his hit song ‘Elon Musk’, respectfully bowed to offer his greetings.

The duo, in video, are captured thoroughly enjoying themselves as they groove to the rapper’s music.
Tunde Ednut, a popular blogger who’s friends with Davido, reposted the video, averred that the Singer and Shallipopi had a fun ride in OBO’s fancy Maybach car.
Davido, in April 2023, added 2023 Maybach Virigil Abloh to his garage. According to reports, only 150 of this specific brand were produced, costing the singer a whopping N394,000,000.

Shallipopi had been releasing music since 2021. it was not until 2023 that he had commercial success and recognition with “Elon Musk”- a talk-rap catchy track that blew up on TikTok and Instagram.
Shallipopi released “Ex-convict” and “Obapluto” ahead of his debut EP- “Planet Pluto” which has since amassed several millions of streams across streaming platforms.
