BBN all stars housemate, Mercy Eke was seen in the locker room lamenting to her fellow female housemates on how using injectable birth control method to prevent pregnancy for 4 months affected her. She went on to state that she was so much affected that she would always run to the clinic to meet her doctor.
According to her, she did not have a pleasant experience using injectable birth control methods as a means to prevent pregnancy and using it for 4 months came with a lot of side effects for her that she just had to stop. She mentioned that she experienced mood swings especially when she wakes up from sleep, she also said that the birth control made her add weight. She made it clear that she was not comfortable throughout the four months of using that method.
She said, “I can never use injectable birth control methods again. The one I used for four months made me almost go crazy. Imagine waking up from sleep and you’re always angry at somebody. I even added weight. No no I can’t do it again.
“I had to always rush to the clinic to see my doctor and ask what’s wrong with me. I even told him to take everything related to the injection out of my body if there is a way”.
