Boko Haram, IPOB, ESN are afraid of Lagbaja, -El-Rufai

Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, recently made a statement praising the competence and fear-inducing reputation of the Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, particularly among Boko Haram, Indigenous People of Biafra/Eastern Security Network, and various other groups.

On Sunday, El-Rufai took to his verified Twitter handle (@elrufai) to express his confidence in Gen. Lagbaja’s capabilities in fulfilling his duties as the army chief. He described the COAS as a new kind of leader who possesses the unwavering potential to eliminate terrorism, banditry, vandalism, and militancy in Nigeria.

Furthermore, El-Rufai disclosed that he has a personal connection with Gen. Lagbaja, having served under him as his General Officer Commanding while he was the governor of Kaduna State. This personal acquaintance with the army chief adds weight to his endorsement of Gen. Lagbaja’s skills and qualifications.

By making this bold statement, the former governor aims to instill trust and confidence in the capabilities of the current Chief of Army Staff, while also emphasizing the importance of addressing the security challenges facing the nation.
