Nigerian film actress, Toyin Abraham have alleged that Nigerians reported her movies on Netflix because of her support for her preferred candidate. Recall that before the presidential election, Toyin Abraham stated that she’ll be voting for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. She also urged her followers to support candidates of their respective choices.
However, in a recent video, the actress could be heard recounting the bullying and backlash she’s received from Nigerians on social media since she declared her support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Toyin Abraham, she stated that Nigerians sent messages to Netflix that her movies should be removed because of her support for her preferred candidate. She also stated that they reported her to her brands.
She said;
“They sent messages to Netflix that Netflix should remove my movies. They started sending message to the brands that I represent. Imagine if I’m an upcoming or someone that does not have hold”.
