Nigeria has been ranked as the country with the highest number of transfer of players in Africa for the year 2022.
This was contained in the new global transfer report released by FIFA.
According to FIFA, Nigeria is ranked as the fifth highest exporter of football talents in the whole world and first in Africa having transferred 725 players for $104.2 million in the year under review.
Ghana came second with 515 players while Ivory Coast finished third with 428 on the continent.
Brazil came out on top globally, exporting 2,061 players worth $843.2 million, followed by Argentina with 1,004 players for $380 million.
France and Great Britain occupied the third and fourth positions with 921 and 848 players respectively- with values of $591.5 million and $249.7 million.
