Since gaining notoriety in the Nigerian music industry, the contentious singer Portable from Nigeria has chosen to reveal the amount of money he spends each day.
The singer said that his peers in the music business, Poco Lee and Olamide, are not his source of notoriety in the industry, adding that he already had the grace to become well-known before he met them. He made this disclosure during an interview with EchoRoom a few hours ago.
When talking about his prior managers, Portable disclosed that they interacted with him when he was working for them. The artist claims that he had to hire a woman as his manager since she is more open-minded and emotionally expressive than men.
Portable went on to say that he utilized the mother of his children as his manager and that he became close to her since he could tell she was highly intelligent. Then Portable disclosed that she had asked him why he had no funds.
Portable however disclosed that;
“How will I have savings when I am spending almost 4 to 5 million daily?. My managers used to take me to ceremonial events where I book for hotels of 80 thousand to 90 thousand Naira and I start crying when I enter my house.
“There’s nobody I mingle with that I don’t spend my money on. Whenever I’m broke, I meet people that will save me”.
