Also known as Mama G, Ozokwor is recognized as one of Nollywood’s pioneers having stayed in the industry for years. She is undoubtedly talented and one of the most celebrated actresses in Nigeria.

Patience is known for taking the role of a wicked woman despite being an ordained evangelist in real life.  She is also a gospel singer and fashion designer that held the unofficial title of Nollywood’s ‘most wicked mother-in-law.

The iconic actress was married at age 19 after secondary school in 1977 in an arranged marriage and has three biological children and five adopted ones making it eight children all together. She became a widow in 2000 after her husband succumbed to a terminal disease he had battled for 15 years.

Patience revealed that she had wanted to re-marry at some point after Mr. Ozokwor’s death but her children prevented her. She recently posted a picture posing with 14 grandchildren and 10 children in a social media picture.

The veteran actress shared the picture on Instagram celebrating her children together with their spouses and all her grandchildren who gathered after seven years of not seeing each other.

Eight grandchildren are from her biological and six from her adopted children. Her biological children are Uchendu Ozokwor, Chioma Nnenna Lameya Ani and Nduka Ozokwor.

Uchendu is Patience’s first and eldest son. He went to Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) and is a civil engineer by profession. He celebrates his birthday on July 8. Uchendu Ozokwor married Gloria Nweze in May 25th of 2013 in London and together they have two children.

He once starred alongside her mother in one of her movies shot in the United Kingdom titled ‘Why To Marry’ in 2016.

She is Patience’s look-alike daughter hailed for her Igbo and English. Chioma is the second child and first daughter. She was born on December 15 and is married to Emeka Ani from 2010. Their union is blessed with three children. Chioma ventured into the music industry business and lives with her family in London.

Nduka is Patience’s second son. He was born in December 25, 1988 and was only in University when the father passed away. The 33-year old is a footballer. Before moving to Turkey to venture in football as a profession, he was a midfield attacker for the Enugu Rangers of Nigeria.

He was once captain of the Nigerian Flying eagles Football Team. With his team, they represented Nigeria in the FIFA U20 World cup in Canada in 2007. Nduka is married to Mary and together they have three children.

They share the name of her husband even after his death.  There is little information on them in the media. However, one is said to be a pastor. One of them also passed away in March 2016 due to blood infection. Another of her sons in the U.S has a music label and is passionate for the entertainment industry.

Patience Ozokwor is not social media savvy but her children are quite notable.
