After completing deals for Marc Cucurella from Brighton (as reported by Fabrizio), Chelsea have now moved on to other targets in their list for the summer and this time reports from verified media outlets have it that they are trying their hardest to sign former Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona.

Recall Aubameyang was thrown out of Arsenal by Mikel Arteta for a certain misconduct in the dressing room after he was stripped of his armband and had his contract terminated. The Gabonese international joined Barcelona and has been banging in goals for them since the first game. It would be an absolute disaster for Arsenal and it’s supporters if one of their recent best players join a rival like Chelsea and help them win the league like Cesc Fabregas did.

Aubameyang to Chelsea is a match made in heaven, as the 33 year old has what it takes to lead the line in the premier league as long as he is given the freedom to attack the box from any angle of his choice while playing at centre forward, compared to the directness and strict observation of tactical play under Mikel Arteta.
