I have Waited for 24 Hours and no one has Asked if Tobi Amusan is a Muslim or Christian- Joe Igbokwe

Nigerian politician, Joe Igbokwe, has taken to social media to react to the victory of Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan, in the 100m hurdle earlier on, as he disclosed the question Nigerians are yet to ask with regards to the religiosity of the athlete.

Recall that Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan had earlier on, broke the world athletes championship record by running 12.12 in the 100 metrers semi-final hurdles at Hayward Field. The athlete has since her victory, received several congratulatory messages from Nigerian, including incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari.

However, Joe Igbokwe, in reaction to her victory, stated that he has waited for 24 hours, and no one has asked if Tobi Amusan is a Muslim or Christian, a Northern, southern or Middlebelter and whether she is a member of the APC or PDP.

Joe Igbokwe further stated that all that Nigerians keep shouting is ‘Nigeria’, adding that her victory should serve as a lesson for Nigerians.

The APC chieftain finally wished Nigerians a good day.
