The wife of late General Ibrahim Attahiru, Fati Attahiru, has arrived at the Grand Mosque of Nigeria, Abuja where the funeral of her husband and his entourage will take place. Nigerians were thrown in a state of shock and tears when the sad news about the death of the Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru broke out on Friday night.
It was reported that General Ibrahim Attahiru and some other military officers were involved in an air crash on Friday, May 21, in Kaduna State which claimed the lives of everyone on board, leaving no survivor. Late General Ibrahim Attahiru recently replaced General Tukur Buratai as Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff in January 2021.
Pictures which were shared on the official page of BBC Hausa on social media platform Twitter, saw late General Attahiru’s wife putting on a black veil covering all her body including her face.
