Former NBA player, Lamar Odom  has blasted the so-called Kardashian “curse” and said he’s “lucky” to even be associated with the famous family.

Odom married Khloé Kardashian in 2009 but had a highly publicized divorce from 2013 -2016.

For a while there has been online chatter about there being a ‘kardashian curse’ on men who marry into the famous family.

It’s been said the ‘Kardashian curse’ means any man married or in a relationship with a Kardashian doesn’t last long, and always leaves the relationship/marriage worse than he came in.

Odom who suffered from drug and sex addiction, has now rubbished those claims.

He said that people are “dumbasses” if they believe there’s a “curse” on exes of the Kardashian-Jenner women.

“That’s stupidity because everybody goes through s–t. If I had your family on tape, and see all the s–t your family was going through, people would be like, ‘This f–king family is crazy!’” Odom said to “Vlad TV.”

Khloé, 36, first filed for divorce from Odom in 2013, but paused proceedings until 2016 so he could fully recover from his near-fatal overdose at a Las Vegas brothel.

The 41-year-old, said people see the happy times along with the struggles because the Kardashians are so open about their lives.

“People would see all the drug addicts, all the sex, they share their life with you, so you see everything,” Odom said.

“Maybe it’s overexposed, but people love it. The people that made them are the ones who point the fingers. It’s kind of sickening. I’ve lived it from the inside in, to the outside.”

He added that it’s “hard” to figure out the love-hate relationship fans have with the powerhouse family, but admitted he’s just “lucky enough to have some of that stardust fall off on me.”

In recent days, Odom, 41, has been embroiled in drama with his ex-fiancée Sabrina Parr.

He says he felt better watching a “Khloé & Lamar” marathon on TV.

“This is the Lamar and Khloe marathon so I just wanted to give a shout-out to E! for giving me the opportunity, a shout-out to my ex-wife, Kris Jenner, Kim [Kardashian], for giving me the opportunity,” he shared.

“I’ll never forget the day I got married on TV,” he continued. “I get a little bit emotional watching it.”
