2024 UTME: 30 Kwara-based Catholic secondary school students score above 300

The management of Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College in Ilorin, Kwara State, have taken to social media to celebrate the exploits of 30 of their students who scored 300 marks and above in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.

The said students scored between 300 and 355 marks out of possible 400.

The feat was disclosed by a cleric, Reverend Father Jude Okeh, via a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, May 3, 2024.

“In the midst of JAMB saga, we have this from one of the Catholic schools…. there is a lot more of that,” Okeh wrote.

Two of the students, Fasesin Ayomiposi and Kunle-Olawepo Ayomikun, emerged as the highest scorers with 355.

Other top scorers were Adelodun Oluwadarasimi and Ayejuto Daniel with 341, and Idris Jamaaldeen with 333.

The list included Adeoye James, 330; Ademola Ayomide, 330; Sunday Eniola, 329; Fawibe Iyanuoluwa, 328; Azor Richard, 327; Bambe Daniel, 327; Ezeala Excel, 326; Oyawoye Henry, 323; and Oyewopo Mercy, 323.

Also on the list were Ebiegberi Joseph, 319; Adetola Omotoke, 319; Adigun Oluwaferanmi, 317; Atibioke Omolade, 317; Osunbande Adegoke, 315; Aliyu Muhizat, 314; Daramola Tunmise, 314; Ogunkeyede Wereniseoluwa, 313; Abolarin John, 312; Jenyo Bernard, 312; Folorunsho Stephen, 311; Enoch Oluwole, 311; Elegbede Oluwarotimi, 305; Bamidele Daniel, 300; Olaitan-Rafiu Damisola, 300; and Onah Francis, 300.

The examination was conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, whose Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said would not publicly disclose the top scorer to avoid confusion, but advised that anybody who wants to appreciate any candidate that did well in the exam to clarify from the Board, the authenticity of the result.
