There have been several reactions from social media users after former Kogi lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye shared the debt profile of Kogi state since 2015.
The list was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle.
Dino Melaye made the post after the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC declared the former governor of Kogi state wanted.
In the post that Dino Melaye titled “Kogi State’s Total Debt Profile From 2015 to 2023”, in 2015, the state had a total debt of N42.03 billion while in 2016, the state had N71.38 billion. In 2017, Kogi had N102.36 billion while in 2018, the state had N84.92 billion. In 2019, it was N132.47 billion while N68.09 billion was recorded in 2020.
