In a Facebook post, Reno Omokri, a renowned Nigerian author and lawyer, warned wives against praying for other women to stay away from their husbands.

According to Omokri, this is one of the worst prayers a wife can ever make, as the only way for it to be answered is for her husband to become financially broke.
“As a wife, one of the worst prayers you can ever pray is to pray for other women to leave your husband alone. The only way that prayer can be answered is for your husband to become broke. No matter how ugly your husband is, as long as he has money, women will never leave him alone. It is better to pray for God to give your husband strength to resist temptation than to pray for women to leave him alone. Even you, if he becomes broke, will you stay? And if you stay, will you respect him like before?”
