Before the game, it was predicted that Barcelona would deploy longer passes to bypass PSG’s press and that was exactly what Xavi did. It worked as it helped Barca break the lines in midfield and put their hosts on the back foot.
Enrique still believes his PSG side can beat Barca in the second leg.
“We are going to change the things that did not work, we always have to evaluate what a match of this magnitude means. It is a positive point to think that we can win there [in Barcelona].
“The second leg will be a final. We will go to Barcelona and fight,” Enrique adds.
Barca’s 3-2 win away against PSG proves they are the more experienced side in the competition despite fielding young players.
