Some teams saw the importance of winning their respective Premier League matches and made sure they did so to bag all three important points which either strengthened their position on the league table or elevated them to new positions.

Chelsea returned to the path of winning in the Premier League as they comfortably defeated Sheffield United 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge Stadium thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer.


Manchester City dropped points once again in the competition when they took on Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium. Despite having a two-goal advantage in the game, Pep Guardiola’s men just couldn’t hold on to it as they settled for a disappointing 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on home soil. Goals from Rico Lewis, Jack Grealish, Jean Philippe-Maeta, and Michael Olise made sure both sides bagged at least a point from this game.


Arsenal were also back to winning ways as they secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Brighton at the Emirates Stadium thanks to brilliant goals from Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.


The biggest game in the Premier League last week involving Liverpool and Man Utd failed to deliver the best of footballing actions as both sides sat for a disappointing goalless draw at the Anfield Stadium.
