According To What Lawyer Said, There Was No Agreement On Mohbad Royalties With Naira Marley” – Aralola Olamuyiwa

The PMAN governor in Lagos State and singer, Aralola Olamuyiwa, revealed during an interview with TVC News the truth about Mohbad’s written agreement with his former record label boss, Naira Marley. In a video that was posted by TVC News, she made it known that, according to what the lawyer said, there was no written agreement on Mohbad’s royalties with singer Naira Marley. She disclosed that Mohbad’s manager was invited to the national assembly in order to find out about his royalties.

In her statement, she said, “On the issue of Mohbad, the headquarter headed by the president, Mr. Peter Okafor, made arrangements with the national assembly in Abuja, and Mohbad’s lawyer and his manager were invited to the national assembly. I think the committee on youth and justice should seek provisions on how his royalties would be collected so that they don’t go in vain. So, these are the things that we could do, like I said, we are constitutionally backed. According to what lawyer said, there was no agreement on Mohbad royalties with Naira Marley, but let’s see how that can be sorted out. I know that Naira Marley is one of the most talented artists that I have met, and I know that he’s a very reasonable human being, so at the end of the day, something would be done.”
