Davido, Chioma spotted leaving the hospital with twins

After days of speculations, pictures and videos of a popular singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido; and his wife, Chioma, leaving a hospital in Atlanta, United States of America, with their newborn twin children surfaced on the Internet on Friday, October 13, 2023.

A voice could be heard in the video saying, “Grandpa is the photographer. Hello, Atlanta; hello, world. We are having our first ride in grandpa’s Bentley.”

News had gone viral on Tuesday, October 10, that the couple had just had twin children, and there had been well wishes from several entertainers and fans of Davido. However, the development was neither confirmed nor denied by the couple. During the week, Davido went on social media to caution people against sharing old pictures of the couple, as a picture of Davido by Chioma’s bedside when they had their deceased son, Ifeanyi, had gone viral.

However, taking to social media, a music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, also known as Samklef, shared a picture of the couple about leaving the hospital with the newborns, and added the caption, “It’s official, congratulations to Davido and Chioma; double blessings. One boy, one girl!”

Apparently not pleased with Samklef’s post, Davido commented, “F***ing clout chaser…you know you are not meant to post this…delete please; you are a wicked person.”

The post was subsequently deleted by Samklef, who is now based in the US.

Meanwhile, Davido’s alleged baby mother, Anita Brown, who had called out the singer severally on social media in June 2023 for allegedly impregnating her and asking her to abort the baby, also congratulated the singer and his wife. She wrote, “Congratulations to David and Chioma. Children are blessings. Best of luck as parents, sincerely.”

About a week earlier, Brown, who is a US-based businesswoman, had taken to social media to apologise to Chioma.

On Tuesday, October 3, she had written, “It is too much to bear right now. I am disquieted by all the events that have taken place. The only thing I will say is that I regret that I let my pain and feelings of betrayal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, I apologise to Chioma.”

Personalities who have congratulated the couple include Iyabo Ojo, May Edochie, Jane Mena and Eva Alordiah.

The couple had lost their first son, Ifeanyi, on October 31, 2023.
