Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has lost over 500,000 followers on his Instagram page. This followed calls for Nigerians to unfollow the musician following the death of singer, Mohbad.
Before losing over 500,000 followers, Naira Marley had 7.4 million followers. It has now reduced to 6.9 million.
Mohbad died in controversial circumstance last week Tuesday with Nigerians pointing accusing fingers at Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry.
Various videos on social media showed the late singer being assaulted by Naira Marley’s record label members. He was allegedly bullied and blacklisted in the industry.
Protesters on Tuesday held a candlelight procession in his honour in Abeokuta and other areas.
