Why Arsenal’s Community Shield win should not change the reality that Havertz had a terrible game

Arsenal claimed another Community Shield win as they defeated Manchester City by 4-1 on penalties after the normal regulation ended in a draw. Meanwhile, their victory for some reason shouldn’t change the reality that Havertz had a terrible game.

Although Havertz was fortunate to claim his first Community Shield win with Arsenal today but the German still needs to work on himself to become an important player for Arsenal next season. Both teams tested each other in the first half before Cole Palmer gave Manchester City the lead in the second half. Leandro Trossard changed the face of the game as he scored the equalizer at the stoppage time. Arsenal then went on to win the game by 4-1 on penalties.

However, here are Havertz’s numbers today:

-0 goals

-0 assist

-7 duels lost (most )

-2 big chances missed

-0 chances created

-0/4 Ariel duels won

– 0/2 dribbles

The above statistics show that he had a terrible game which he must improve because the Premier League kicks off next weekend.
