Benjamin Mendy, a former Manchester City player, became cleared of the rape case against him.
This came after a three-week trial at Chester Crown Court where the jury foreman introduced the results. Mendy became exonerated of trying to rape a woman in October 2018 at his £four million assets in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire.
Two years later, at the same domestic address, he was also charged of the rape of a second woman. According to the court, the French worldwide and World Cup champion told the woman that it was okay because he had slept with 10,000 women.
Following this recent update, Juventus star midfielder, Paul Pogba takes to social media to celebrate and congratulate Benjamin Mendy.
Pogba celebrated the now no longer-responsible verdict on his reliable social media platforms.
Along with a image of a FaceTime was a congratulatory message that said, “Al Hamdullilah.. so satisfied for you bro .. all of the people that was talking bad about you NoW I wanna see them cleansing your name. Can’t wait to see on the pitch again.”
