Spanish professional goalkeeper, David De gea publicly came out to announce his exit from Manchester United after 12 years at the club. The talented goalkeeper made the announcement on his Official Facebook page today being Saturday the 8th day of July, 2023 and it stirred massive reactions from football fans across the globe including some of his teammates such as Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Christian Eriksen, Harry Maguire, Garnacho, amongst others.
In the post shared online, De gea revealed that he has achieved a lot ever since Sir Alex Ferguson brought him to the club 12 years ago and he think that this is the right time for him to undertake a new challenge. He further stressed that he took incredible pride everytime he pulled on the United shirt to represent the club because it’s an honor only bestowed upon few lucky footballers.
