Why Cristiano Ronaldo paints toenails black like Mike Tyson

Revealed: Why Cristiano Ronaldo paints toenails black like Mike Tyson

Cristiano Ronaldo was photographed with painted toenails while on vacation this summer and has revealed why.
The Al-Nassr celebrity is now on vacation in Sardinia with Georgina Rodriguez and his family aboard his multi-million dollar yacht.

Ronaldo was photographed topless and wearing black and gold striped underwear, but his followers were drawn to his toes, which appeared to be painted black.

The legend of Portugal displayed each toenail, which was covered in a thick layer of black lacquer.

The superstar then explained why he painted his toes, with several other players following suit.

According to Bild, as reported by the Sun, Keewee, a Twitter user, criticised others who questioned why Ronaldo was painting his toenails.

He said it is due to the fact that he is doing it to prevent bacterial and fungal infections while playing in his football boots.

Ronaldo’s painted toenails have caused a lot of arguments on social media as many start questioning the reason for his action.

Ronaldo is not the only sports celebrity with varnished toes, according to KEEWEE as quoted by the Sun, Mike Tyson also does.

He said, “Many top athletes do this to protect their nails from fungi and bacteria when they are stuck in sweaty shoes for hours. Even Mike Tyson. But wonderful to see how fragile masculinity is here.”

Boxing icon Mike Tyson is rumoured to have copied Cristiano Ronaldo in using his feet in a similar manner.

The Twitter user said, “Many top athletes do this to protect their nails from fungi and bacteria when they are stuck in sweaty shoes for hours. Even Mike Tyson. But wonderful to see how fragile masculinity is here.
