Reactions As President-Elect, Tinubu Meets Rabiu Kwankwaso For Over 4 Hours In France

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the last general elections, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has met with the winner of the election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for over four hours in France yesterday.

Recall that former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress defeated Atiku Abubakar and other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the election held on the 25th of February, 2023 to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

 

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. The presidential election Tribunal commenced sitting last week Monday to hear the cases by the parties.

According to Daily Trust Newspaper, “The President-elect and Senator Kwankwaso met for over 4 hours behind close door in Paris on Monday. The meeting which started at about 12.30pm ended at about 4.45pm. The meeting was attended by Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon Femi Gbajabiamila. Kwankwaso was accompanied to the meeting by member elect from kano Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin,”
