Popular Football Journalist, Fabrizio Romano reported that Uruguayan Midfielder, Fede Valverde waited for Baena in the car park after the Real Madrid Vs Villarreal game and punched him in the face.
According to Valverde’s camp mentioned by Marca, This happened due to Baena saying to Fede last match that he can now cry because his son is not going to be born. Valverde’s camp reported that the Villarreal midfielder made the same statement again last night when the two teams (Barcelona and Real Madrid) met and Fede took it personal as he could no longer hold back his anger.
It was reported that Fede Valverde patiently waited for the Villarreal man at the car park after the game, punched him in the face and told him that family comes first. Valverde and his partner, Mina Bonino reportedly had a miscarriage scare in February and it’s totally wrong for Alex Baena to make mockery of him with that.
Alex Baena on the other hand has publicly stepped out to deny everything on his social media platforms stating that he’s sad for the aggression he suffered and also for the story he’s seeing on the internet. He further went ahead to label the news “False” stating that he didn’t say any of those things.
