Thomas Tuchel’s ex-wife reveals why Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly

Thomas Tuchel was surprisingly sacked as Chelsea boss last September despite winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

The reasons for Tuchel’s sacking at Chelsea have been revealed in an email from the German manager’s ex-wife.

According to Bild, Sissi – a former journalist for Suddeutsche Zeitung and ex-wife of Tuchel – revealed in an email that Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea owner Tuchel after Chelsea players lost respect for the German tactician.

A number of other mysterious “off-field reasons” were also cited as reasons for the parting of ways.

Tuchel won 60 of his 100 games in charge of Chelsea – including the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City – and has remained out of work since he was sacked by Chelsea.
