Manchester United’s second goal against Barcelona by Antony Santos in the second half should have been cancelled by VAR and the referee.
United started the match with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho, Lisandro Martinez, Fred, David De Gea, Luke Shaw, Casemiro and others
Barcelona on the other hand started the match with the likes of Robert Lewadowski, Raphinha, Sergio Busquets, Frank Kessie, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie De Jong and others.
Barcelona scored the first goal in the first half through Lewandowski from the penalty spot but Manchester United equalized in the early minutes of the second half though Fred.
Antony Santos scored Manchester United’s second goal few minutes later but that goal should not have stood because, in the build up to the goal, Bruno Fernandes had fouled a Barcelona player before he passed the ball into the 18-yard box of Barcelona. The foul that Fernandes committed should have made VAR and the referee cancel the goal.
