Barcelona are facing some serious squad problems in midfield as they will miss both(injured) and Gavi (suspended) in their return leg against Manchester United.
In the latest presser, Xavi was asked whether youngster Pablo Torre was ready, if need be, to play from the start.
“He is ready to play from the start and he needs to be ready, we will need him,” the coach said.
“He is different from Pedri, he’s more of a second striker or attacking midfielder than a central midfielder. He shoots, runs into the box, that’s how he makes the difference.”
This season so far, Pablo has played 213 minutes for Barca in six different matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He’s started three games for Barca but it was always against much weaker opponents.
