How I Found Out My Wife Was Having Extra Marital Affairs With Our Landlord

A man in Zambia, Derrick Musonda has narrated to the Matero Local Court in Lusaka how he found out that his wife, Elizabeth Musonda was allegedly having extra marital affairs with their landlord, Joseph Mulauzi.

According to the report on Nigerian Tribune, Derrick narrated that when they moved into their rented apartment in 2019, he and his wife started having marital problems and they would fight almost everyday. He said that their landlord, Joseph, intervened and would counsel both of them.

Derrick, however, said that after sometime, he noticed his wife’s attitude changed towards their landlord as she became close to him so he decided to use her phone to set a trap by putting it on call recording.

He said: “I became suspicious of my wife’s strange behaviour towards our landlord (Joseph) and I decided to put her mobile phone on auto-record in order to track calls either received or made by my wife.”

“One day, I decided to go through the audio recordings and that was how I found out about their love affairs.”

While Elizabeth was asked by the court about the allegation, she revealed that she started having affairs with their landlord because her husband was not supportive materially and financially for her and her their children.

 

The presiding judge found Joseph guilty on his own admission and ordered him to compensate Derrick with K20, 000, equivalent to about 74,000 naira for adultery.
