Zinedine Zidane has turned down the opportunity to coach Portugal, Brazil, the USA, Qatar and the UAE, according to L’Equipe.
The former Real Madrid manager only wants to coach Juventus, per the source. However, Juve are not looking to hire a new manager just yet with Max Allegri still at the helm.
Zidane has not managed a club since he left Real Madrid in 2021. Earlier this month he was in contention to become France’s manager but he was snubbed and even insulted by the French Federation president.
Zizou was a serial winner as a player and even so as a coach. We can assume he will get a big job by the end of the season. Perhaps in the near future, we could see Zidane leading his team to face Real Madrid.
