Following the conclusion of the official presidential campaign rally organised by the Labour Party in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital today, a picture which captured the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Gregory Obi, sleeping during a visit to a traditional ruler’s palace has surfaced online.
The picture, which captured the former Anambra governor, his running mate, Yusuf Datti Ahmed Baba, and Comrade Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the and the Emir of Lafia, HRM Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed (rtd), was shared on the official Twitter timeline of the Special Assistant to Muhammadu Buhari, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Digital Communications, Mr. Bashir Ahmad.
Bashir Ahmad tweeted, “The guy next to the LP presidential candidate should please tap his shoulder to wake him up. It is against the culture and protocol to take a long nap while paying homage to a respected traditional leader down here. ”
