#UCL: Xavi Reveals Who Is Responsible For Barca’s Elimination From The Champions League

Spanish La Liga side Barcelona failed to secure all three points in their second leg tie with Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League as they lost 3-0 at the Spotify Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, and Benjamin Pavard gave the visitors the deserved win over the Spanish side.

After the game, Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez reveals who is responsible for Barcelona’s elimination from the competition.

“For the first time this season, I felt like we didn’t compete at all. They overtook us completely. We’re out because our mistakes, nothing else,” he said.

“In Munich, we were better than Bayern and we didn’t take advantage of that. I think we were mentally affected by our elimination before the match. I am the main one responsible for the elimination.

“I was affected after the match in Milan. The refereeing decisions were unfair and so was the result. The truth is that this year, unlike the last, I felt like we had the squad to win this tournament. What happened is unacceptable.

“I still think we can and we need to win titles this season. We have to keep going. We have titles to fight for this season.”
