Sadio Mane’s Team Lead The Way For Most Goals Scored In All Competitions So Far This Season.

Sadio Mane may have left a prolific team like Liverpool, but he’s joined an even better free-scoring side in Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians were in action yesterday in the DFB-Pokal as they made light work of Augsburg at the WWK Arena.

Bayern put 5 goals past their opponents on Wednesday to take their overall tally across all competitions this season to 58 goals in just 17 matches.

This is the most any team in Europe’s top 5 leagues have managed at this stage of the season, with Manchester City occupying the second spot having found the back of the net 45 times in 15 games.

Out of City’s 45 goals, Erling Haaland have 20 to his name, with the Norwegian sensation failing to score just twice against Bournemouth and Liverpool.

Serie A leaders Napoli are the team with the third-best goalscoring record (43) from just 14 games this term, followed closely by star-studded PSG (40 goals in 16 matches).

It’s somehow strange that a team like PSG that boast of a fearsome attacking force (Messi, MbappĂ©, Neymar) have scored lesser goals than a Napoli team with no superstar.

German side RB Leipzig makes up the top 5 list with 38 goals from 17 games despite sitting 10th in LaLiga and second in their Champions League group.
