It’s no longer news that Pablo Gavi has been named as the best youngster all over the world for the 2020/2021 football season in the Ballon d’Or ceremony. He won the Kopa Trophy to win the latest edition of the award after his teammate, Pedri won the last one.
He is not the only one who was nominated for the award and things become more interesting as Alphonso Davies took to his social media account on Instagram to share a new message regarding one of his teammates who was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy but he isn’t lucky enough to win it.
Davies writes telling Jamal Musiala, his teammate that they might have denied him of winning the Kopa Trophy but they can’t deny him of winning the Ballon d’Or in the future.
In conclusion, comparing the goal involvement of these two players, Musiala scored more and provided more assistance than Gavi but he wasn’t lucky enough to win the award.
