Petition to get Haaland banned from playing in EPL because ‘he’s a robot’ gets nearly 2M signatures

Norwegian international and young football maestro, Erling Braut Haaland has been ruthless and dreadful at the heart of the forward line for Manchester City since his summer arrival at the Etihad Stadium from the Signal Iduna Park.

The 22 year old forward enigma has been firing from all cylinders for the reigning Premier League Champion across all competitions and has proved doubters wrong beyond imagination, having been initially tipped to struggle after completing his move to the English Premier League which was presumed to be the toughest in the top five European leagues. This is far from reality as he has been showing his goal scoring prowess in every game since making his premier league debut for the Pep Guardiola’s side where he has now scored a total of 15 league goals in just nine games played so far in the competition.

His current tally means he is now just 8 goals away from the last season’s tally for the Golden Boot winners who had a record of 23 goals each in 38 games played (Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-min Son).

With 29 games left to play in the competition, Erling Haaland will surely set a high pedestal in the total number of goals to claim the Golden Boot should he continue the tempo and this has been a major concern to many, considering the rate at which he churned out goals with this to add to his loads of record already broken in the competition.

As such, a petition to get him banned from playing in the English Premier League has surfaced after taking his tally to 15 goals yesterday in Manchester City’s 4-0 win against Southampton where he scored the last goal of the game after a brilliant teamwork.

The petition which has the claim that ‘he’s a robot’ has now gotten nearly two million signatures as they believe that what he has been doing in the competition since his arrival has been beyond the ordinary.
