ALG (B) 2-2 NIG: Two best players as Super Eagles came from behind to play a draw against Algeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria came from behind to play out a 2-2 draw against Algeria home based team on Friday evening in a friendly match.

All the foreign invited Super Eagles players arrived in Camp on Wednesday evening, and they’ve all been training together since then ahead of their friendly match against Algeria senior national team.

Jose Peseiro led team decided to plan a warm-up match against Algeria home based team who were planning to play in CHAN competition and they were forced to play a draw.

Algeria started 11 home based players and Nigeria started the game with 10 foreign players while Rivers United football club star Ebube Duru was the only home based player that represented the Super Eagles.

Karim Aribi and Aymen Mahious scored for Algeria home based team in the game, while substitute Everton football club star Alex Iwobi and Cremonese football club star Cyriel Dessers scored for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The former Arsenal football club star continues his impressive run of form with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, as he came from the bench to score a goal for the Super Eagles in the game.

Cyriel Dessers

The Belgium-born striker was outstanding for the Super Eagles in the game and he also came from the bench to score a goal for the team to end the match in no victor, no vanquished.
