TEO 0-8 LEI: Werner’s first half hat trick explains why Tuchel might be his problem at Chelsea

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner was in sensational form in the first half of their game against FC Teutonia this evening in the DFB Pokal round one. Meanwhile, his performance has explained why Tuchel might actually be his problem at Chelsea.

The German parted ways with Chelsea this summer and returned to Leipzig to have more playing time since Tuchel doesn’t look to be guaranteeing him that this season. Werner needs to play regularly as he will be leading Germany’s attack in the FIFA World Cup this year.

Since he returned to Leipzig he looked to have regained his former self as the German side was the club he made his name in before joining Chelsea two years ago. However, Werner is back to his amazing form as he bagged a hat trick in the first half of their match against Teutonia this evening. He scored the three goals in the 19th, 20th, and 43rd minute which was excellent.

Nevertheless, His performance today has explained why Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel might actually be the problem on why things didn’t work for him at the London club.

Werner complained of a lack of playing time and being played out of position which was among the things why he didn’t reach his potential at Chelsea.
