Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has suggested the two things delaying Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, from joining Chelsea this summer.
Romano said Barcelona have asked for a fee of around €30m for Aubameyang but Chelsea wanted to spend way less than Barca’s asking price.
According to him, Barcelona manager, Xavi, has also insisted that he wants to keep the former Arsenal captain at Camp Nou.
“Tuchel, pushing for Aubameyang as priority… but Xavi insists to keep him.”
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, is desperate to bring in Aubameyang this summer following the recent departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.
Tuchel coached Aubameyang in the past when the duo were together at Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund for three years.
Aubameyang, who only joined Barcelona in January after his contract was terminated at Arsenal, has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.
